Steve vs Drill Press

Ryobi Drillpress and contender Steve Fassler set their differences aside for a moment during this photo session. Looks like Steve could be a little ticked as he reflects on the bout that sent him to the emergency room yesterday. Among other thoughts Steve shared, he mentioned that it may have been a good idea to clamp the metal strap he was drilling to the deck. However the damage is nothing that a couple of thousand dollars and six weeks in a cast can't fix. Surgery is scheduled for Monday to reattach the tendon in Steve's left index finger.

First ride with neighbor Jeff. We take a time out from the trail so Jeff can take a call from a client. Tough duty.

The Essicks Visit Utah

April 8, 2009

Steve, Marla, and Kelsey flew into Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and stayed at our house for two nights. The arrived here Saturday in the dark, and when they woke up the next morning and looked out their bedroom window, they were in awe of the beauty of the big red mountain as well as the surrounding area.  While they were here we were able to tour Zion National Park as well as the St George area. Their stay was too short but the Essicks had plans in Vegas for the remainder of the trip. It was so nice to have them here.
