Marilyn and I were in Cherokee for three weeks over Christmas and now understand why people have Christmas in July! While we were there, we received 30 inches of snow and saw close to two weeks of sub zero temperatures. It was truly an Old Fashioned winter that we remember when we were kids. It was fortunate that there was not a lot of wind and ice during the storms. We are back in Southern Utah where the temps are still cool, but we have blue skies and sunshine.

Strawberry Point
July 7, 2009 by sfasslerMarilyn and I stayed in our RV with some friends at Duck Creek Village over the 4th of July weekend. With ATV’s available we were able to do quite a bit of riding through one of the most beautiful parts of Utah. Duck Creek Village is at about 9,000 feet elevation just east of Cedar City, Utah. Unfortunately the only time I had my camera was on the last ride of the weekend with Marilyn and our friend’s daughter, Kristine. Here are some of the views from Strawberry Point.

Did you really think it would end with just the toy? It is an ‘08 Razor Toy-hauler. 34 1/2′, 2 slides, generator, 105 gallon fresh water tank, satellite. When Steve gets his hand back, it will have solar and the inverter hooked up. We are planning on bringing it back to Iowa with us next week (probably without the toy.) Steve is a little tentative as to whether the V10 will handle the extra weight. Hmmm-might have to do something about that, too.
